Super fast-paced ABM mixed-in with calm melodies and piano/synth notes, then flute(?) or saxophone and storming again for a final crescendo and ending with classic guitar. What an amazing creation!!!

Obsessions, premier album de Notturno, ne pouvait avoir de meilleur nom. Le black metal dépressif y commence avec douceur pour occuper vos pensées. Et une fois que le point de non retour a été franchi, il est dévastateur. Le champ des émotions exprimées par Kjiel est immense : colère, détresse et déprime hantent chacun de ses cris ; ses chuchotements traduisent une fatigue qui ne pourra jamais être soulagée — je comprends mieux pourquoi Imber Luminis a travaillé avec Eyelessight. "La mort n'existe ni pour les vivants ni pour les morts" écrivait Épicure et ça reste toujours vrai : personne ne peut en faire l'expérience — sauf NONE, formation américaine qui en a fait son leitmotiv. Les membres du groupe sont inconnus et son premier album n'a pas de nom ; même le paysage sur la pochette est vaporeux. Si le DSBM est déjà d'une tristesse funèbre qui serre le cœur, les passages atmosphériques donnent à entendre les âmes en peine de l'autre côté du voile. Un début magistral... Jordan Vauvert
